New friends

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of sharing an office at work with 2 amazing artists from Lucas Animation in Singapore. They came over to train and work with the art department at ILM for 6 weeks. They were super talented and a lot of fun to work with. It was sad when they had to go back, but now I've got some new friends and a reason to visit Singapore someday. These are quick goodbye cards I did for them that the ILM art department signed. Just a little sketch I did while taking a work break.

Keeping it loose

Here's an old digital scribble I did a while back. At one point, I tried taking it further, cleaning it up and rendering it nicely. Unfortunately, the tighter version lost all of it's character, so I trashed it and stuck with the loose sketch.
